I’ve been on a pseudo-hiatus!

Not really, though. I’ve just had an influx of people wanting me to draw and/or design things for them. So I haven’t had much time to update the blog-portion of my website. All is good, for the most part. Since my last post, I’ve re-designed my website, created/coded/designed a website for the Seymour Evangelical Baptist Church and I’ve been creating illustrated clip-art/graphics for someone who does a lot of scrapbooking/parties. All in all, pretty busy. But I love what I do and I wish I could do it more. The whole “starving-artist” thing may sound chic, but it’s getting old.

My name is Sarah Greenhill and I am a writer, graphic artist and illustrator.

I have always felt that art was the direction I wanted to go with my life and there has never been a time when I was not doing something art related. In order to succeed in this day and age, you need to make sure that you are happy. In my eyes, the perfect job is one that does not even feel like a job. When you can wake up every day and be excited to go to work because you love what you do; well, I'd say that is one of the best feelings in the world. For me, that hub of excitement and happiness is art.

I greatly enjoy what I do and am willing to learn anything anyone has to teach me. My areas of expertise are the Adobe creative suite, Microsoft Office, Final Draft, and Final Cut Studio (among others). I've written a full-length animated screenplay and have worked with quite a few clients on a freelance basis to meet their personal and/or professional branding needs. Want my resume?
